Update and new concepts in basic and translational immunology one-day course

This course, hosted by the UCL Institute of Immunity and Transplantation, is an ideal opportunity for academic and clinical immunology trainees to benefit from a one-day highly integrated overview of fundamental immunology from a world-leading authority. The course will cover basic immunology, translational aspects and emerging clinical impacts.

Abul K. Abbas, MBBS, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco, where he moved after having spent 22 years at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Abul has authored several best-selling Immunology text books and received numerous teaching and research honours including the Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis-Rous-Whipple and Robbins Distinguished Educator Awards from the American Society for Investigative Pathology and the Irving M. London Award from the Harvard-MIT MD Program in Health Sciences and Technology.
