Screening of a brand new documentary ‘Eye on the Needle’ on ‘Cleopatra’s Needle’, an ancient Egyptian obelisk situated on London’s Embankment. The film follows Dr. Paul Harrison (UCL) as he investigates the history of the monument, how it made its way from Egypt to London, and its current state of preservation. The makers of the film will be on hand to discuss the current risks to the monument and how and why they made this eye opening film.
