We take great pride in being able to offer you Spoken Word and Performance Poetry at its finest. Curated by our very own Belal Amini, this night is going to be filled with performers from all walks of life; whether you’re a veteran or have never been to a spoken word event before, Word-Up is for you.

Artists on the bill include Tshaka Campbell; after being a part of the winning team at the Hollywood National Champion Slam Poetry competition, you’ll be blown away by the TarMan’s lyrical genius. Critically acclaimed, Anthony Anaxagorou consistently leaves audiences spellbound with poignant lyrics, G.R.E.Ed.S (Generating Rhymes to Engage the EnlightenD Soul), who has recently featured on 1Xtra, Sophia Thakur, Kemi Taiwo, who runs one of London's fastest growing Poetry networks (Poetry in London), JJ Bola, Massiah Sky and Belal Amini.

The evening will be hosted by International Story-teller and Griot, Alim Kamara.
