Early Careers Network event – “thriving and surviving in academia"
UCL Main Quad Pavilion |
Gower St | London | WC1E 6BT | United Kingdom
This event will include a networking drinks reception and a short presentation/panel session to give early career researchers advice on “thriving and surviving” in academia. Organised by the UCL Populations & Lifelong Health Domain Early Career Network (ECN).
Speakers include Professor Eric Brunner, Professor of Social and Biological Epidemiology; Dr Abi Fisher, Lecturer in Physical Activity and Health; and Professor George Ploubidis, Professor of Population Health and Statistics.
This event is aimed at ‘early career’ researchers working on population health - post-docs, PhD students, research fellows, junior lecturers etc. It will provide a great opportunity for interaction and networking with the speakers, the Early Careers Network Committee, and researchers from across the Domain. There will also be a suggestion box which will provide attendees with the chance to influence the network’s future events and express how the Early Careers Network could help them.
