Delivering Behaviour Change for Society: Funding Behaviour Change Research
Gustave Tuck Lecture Theatre |
Gower St | London | WC1E 6BT | United Kingdom
The first UCL Centre for Behaviour Change event of 2015.
There is a perception amongst many researchers and users of research that there is relatively little investment in behaviour change research and that it is sometimes not obvious how to access it. We are very fortunate to have research programme leads from the Wellcome Trust, the Medical Research Council, the Economic & Social Research Council and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council to explain their strategies for funding behaviour change research.
The evening will start with users of research outlining their needs for behaviour change research in their sectors followed by short talks from the funders and plenty of time for Q&A’s and discussion. It will end with a networking drinks reception to give participants the chance to talk with the speakers, our staff and each other.
