Open to: Academic | Student

What is the role of the Board in Quality Improvement (QI)? What are the characteristics of a board with a ‘mature’ approach to QI?

NIHR CLAHRC North Thames is hosting an event to examine the role of boards in Quality Improvement (QI). We’ll be hearing from experts in the field and sharing interim findings from our iQUASER research project focusing on QI in NHS Boards.

The event is aimed at Trust board members (executives and non-executives), senior clinicians and managers. It will also be of interest to board members from other sectors, and anyone with a role in QI within their organisation.

The focus of this seminar will be on our findings on the characteristics of boards and their role in QI. The event aims to share learning and stimulate discussion on the role of boards in this vital area.
