Artist Naomi Salaman documents and explores a vanishing model of art education in an exhibition that brings together original photographs, historical prints and extracts from the artist's research archive. Looking Back at the Life Room invites us to re-consider the intellectual traditions that life room as a teaching model, together with the intellectual frameworks that inform art education today. What has replaced the life room? A programme of talks and workshops accompanies the exhibition.
