HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Thani, Reach out to Asia (ROTA), Sheikh Mohammed Abdulla Al Thani from Qatar's royal family is the first Qatari man to reach Mount Everest summit. Based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, he is also a notable businessman and well-known public figure.

The lecture, Follow Your Dreams: The story of an Arab with Altitude will be given by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Thani, Doha Reach out to Asia (ROTA) Brand Ambassador and the first Qatari to climb Mount Everest in May 2013.

With a team or Arabs that named their private group “Arabs with Altitude”, Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied throughout his adventurous two-month quest to reach the top of the world by his friends; Raed Zidan, the first Palestinian man to summit Mount Everest, Masoud Mohammad, Raha Muharrak, who became the first Saudi Arabian woman and youngest Arab to summit Mount Everest and videographer Ellia Saikaly. The expedition’s aim was to raise $1 million for education projects in Nepal.

This lecture will be followed by a reception.
