Raphaelle Branche, Senior lecturer of Modern and Contemporary History, Universit de Paris

Dr. Raphaƫlle Branche will speak about the stakes and practice of writing today in France about the period of the Algerian War for Independence between 1954 and 1962. Dr Branche is the author of several acclaimed books on the Algerian war and colonial violence.
