Peter Sammonds, Director, UCL IRDR, UCL

Geology for Global Development (GfGD) Lecture

Peter Sammonds, professor of Geophysics and Director, UCL Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction will discuss natural hazards, vulnerabilities of communities and the challenge for development in the Himalaya.

He will also talk about GfGD's contribution to education in Ladakh.

The lecture will be followed by a reception in the Rock Room, South Wing.
