We live in a culture that is often blind to gender differences, especially when they adversely affect men (e.g. suicide, homelessness) and boys (e.g. educational underperformance). In this Gender Equity Network lecture, Martin Seager, consultant clinical psychologist, author, and expert in men's mental health, asks the question: “Why, in the field of psychology, is there blindness to the male gender, and what can be done about it?"
