Connecting fMRI to Lesion Studies

4th floor seminar room | WTCN
12 Queen Square | London | WC1N 3BG | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

Speaker information: Cathy Price, Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging, UCL. Host: Brain Meeting 2013/2014. Abstract: For identifying brain structures associated with cognitive functions, the contribution of fMRI belittles that of the old lesion-deficit approach. However, the tables are turned when it comes to the more clinically important business of identifying cognitive ability from brain structure. I will discuss new ways to integrate these old approaches.
