Dr Sue Harrington, Archaeologist, Thames Estuary Partnership, landscape-scale Anglo Saxon archaeology and AS textiles
A guided walk across the Greenwich Anglo-Saxon barrow cemetery. Look for traces of the 1500 year old burials, excavated in 1784. Help re-create this long-lost community overlooking the Thames.
Meet at the main gate to Greenwich Park, off Shooter's Hill Road.
A TEP event for Totally Thames. Totally Thames is an exciting new, month-long arts and cultural celebration, linking communities, local authorities and river-related groups in promoting the river as a destination and increasing visitor numbers through arts and cultural events.
