Speaker information

Professor Erica Burman, University of Manchester

In this talk Erica Burman will review the forms and preoccupations of critiques of developmental psychology mounted from within psychology, in particular those framed as deconstructing developmental psychology.

She will reflect on how changes in research, policy and political contexts pose new challenges and resources for critical theorists and practitioners working around children, family in educational, health and social care contexts.
