The UCL Department of Greek and Latin regularly hosts a public lecture named in honour of its most celebrated professor (and poet) A. E. Housman and delivered by a scholar of international distinction.
Our guest speaker this year is Professor Judith Butler who will discuss the kinship trouble in "The Bacchae".
Accessibility
The Logan Hall, Jeffery Hall, Elvin Hall and Drama Studio on level 1 and the Clarke Hall on level 3, must not be considered as accessible to mobility impaired persons, as there are no means of evacuating persons – you are hereby requested to ensure that no one enters the Level 1 and Level 3 areas of the building who cannot evacuate these areas via staircases (please note that there are no safe means of assisting mobility impaired people up staircases in their wheelchairs).
