Over the last two years Nuclear Information Service and Medact have been working on a ground-breaking investigation into links between the Atomic Weapons Establishment (where the UK's nuclear weapons are designed and made) and British universities.

The final report from our study 'Atoms for Peace? The Atomic Weapons Establishment and UK universities' will be published on 12 February 2014 and to mark the occasion we are organising 'Combat and the Campus' an evening of discussion and debate at UCL to launch the report.

The centrepiece of the event will be a panel discussion on the ethics of military research in universities with our guests for the evening, Sir Jonathon Porritt and Professor Andy Blowers.

The evening will conclude with a cheese and wine reception.

All are welcome to attend however advance registration is recommended as places are limited.
