Dr Paul Shattuck, Director of the Life Course Outcomes Programe, The Autism Institute, Drexel University, USA.

Governmental agencies and advocacy groups alike have hailed his research as among the most important conducted in the field. Findings from this work have already helped shape our understanding of autism by equipping families and policy makers with accurate and timely “news they can use.”

We will be delighted to hear him speak on “Transition to Adulthood: A Life Course Perspective”. Dr Shattuck will describe the life course approach to understanding transition to adulthood. He will discuss how his team applies this approach to doing research and fostering innovative opportunities for young adults on the autism spectrum to attain positive outcomes.
