We are pleased to announce the inaugural Sanger Institute-AstraZeneca conference centred on the application of CRISPR technology to the understanding and treatment of human disease.

The goal of Creating a CRISPR Community is to foster collaborations between scientists from academia and the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries who are applying CRISPR systems to the study of human disease and its treatment. The meeting will bring together experts from Europe, China, Japan, Australasia and the US to discuss topics such as the therapeutic applications of CRISPR; advances in genome editing technology; challenges to progressing disease models; CRISPR-based genome-wide screening, DNA repair, the ethics and biosafety of gene editing.

Abstract deadline is 15th November. Submit to CRISPR-Sanger@astrazeneca.com
