In 2011,a local infrastructure seminar at UCL based on a research project which was then implemented in practice attracted over 120 participants. This second seminar will focus on the relationship between local infrastructure planning and the new strategic scale as introduced in the Autumn Statement and to be delivered through Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) in England and the widening scope of national planning applications that will result from the Growth and Infrastructure Bill. There will be both plenary sessions and parallel sessions on issues such as strategic planning methods and experience, funding, neighbourhood planning; community infrastructure levy, national infrastructure projects and green infrastructure.
