Papyrus for the People - Open Afternoon

The Petrie Museum | DMS Watson Building (link Map)
Malet Place | London | WC1E 6BT | United Kingdom

Open to: Alumni | Public | Academic | Student
Admission: Free
Ticketing: Open

Following the installation of a new exhibition to reveal more about the stories and roles of women in ancient Egypt, this afternoon offers a chance to find out more about the recently translated papyrus texts, and what they tell us about life in the Nile valley thousands of years ago. There will also be papyrus activities throughout the afternoon.
