Open to: Academic | Alumni | Public | Student

Did you know that 6.9 billion people live on our planet? Are there too many of us on Earth? Join us for what promises to be a night of lively discussion and debate as we ask The Big Question Should we control human population growth? Six speakers from the worlds of ecology, history, finance, conservation and economics have been brought together to discuss what some people believe to be the undiscussable. Each one has selected an object from our collection to illustrate and support their point of view.

Come along to the Grant Museum for a free drinks reception, a chance to view the objects and hear from the speakers about their selection between 18:00 and 18:45 before they present their arguments at the J Z Young lecture Theatre from 19:00. Booking is essential.
