Professor Tony Wright, Professor in Government and Public Policy, UCL

In this talk Professor Tony Wright, retired member of Parliament, and now Professor in Government and Public Policy at UCL, builds on themes from his latest book Doing Politics (2012), and in considering the wider implications of the various political ructions and the public reaction to them, argues that if we want to defend politics, then we also have to defend politicians.
