The Mayor of Camden - Cllr Heather Johnson and Leader of the Council - Councillor Sarah Hayward, invite you to Camden’s Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD), chaired by Nick Lowles - Director, Hope Not Hate along with speakers from UCL’s department of Hebrew & Jewish Studies and input from Somali, LGBT and disability organisations who will talk about their experiences of ‘belonging’ in Camden

The theme for HMD this year is Communities Together: Build a Bridge encouraging us to guard against exclusion by making connections within our communities - and reminding us that the strongest communities are those that respect difference.

Camden is made up of individuals from different backgrounds. Communities may be defined by geography, by interest, by cultural activities or by faith. On HMD 2013 join us as we consider how as individuals or as groups we can make links, forge connections and reach out to people different from us and together we can help put an end to injustice, hatred and genocide.
