Professor John Dickie will discuss his new book, Mafia Republic, in which he traces a parallel history of Italy’s three major criminal organisations – the Sicilian mafia, the Neapolitan camorra, and the Calabrian ‘ndrangheta – from the foundation of the Italian Republic in 1946 to the present day.

A sandwich lunch will be provided.
