Grant writing mentorship for early career researchers

Location

TBC
United Kingdom

Open to: Academic

The UCL Populations & Lifelong Health Domain Early Careers Network (ECN) is running a grant writing mentoring session for Early Career Researchers.

At this workshop, early career researchers will have the chance to present and receive feedback on a two-page outline grant or fellowship proposal from senior academic mentors and peers.

On the day, the early career researchers will deliver a three minute presentation about their proposal. Senior academic mentors will then ask questions about the proposal and provide constructive feedback. Proposals will also be shared with the other early career researchers attending the event to facilitate peer learning.

There are only four places available at the mentoring workshop, which will last two hours. To reserve a place, you have to submit a two-page research proposal (downloadable from here) to Catherine Smith. Places will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis and proposals should be submitted by Friday 9th February at the latest.
