This workshop focuses on emotional expression, a core element in music performance. Workshop participants will explore approaches to teaching musical expression in a range of contexts (professional or amateur schools; public or private institutions). This workshop will be of interest to those who wish to develop physical relaxation, concentration, sensitivity and musical expression in their playing.

During the workshop participants will be facilitated in group work, experimenting with pedagogical approaches to support improvisations accompanied by expressive body movements.
