Users, developers and fans of cutting-edge technology are invited to UCL on the 18th of January 2013, to hear and see demos from Microsoft Research and a selection of UCL research groups.

Rick Rashid, Microsoft chief research officer and head of Microsoft Research, will give a free public lecture at 11.00 entitled “Microsoft Research and the Evolution of Computing”, discussing his vision of the future of computing research in light of recent developments in computing ability.

Attendees may be also be interested in the UCL DemoFest that afternoon, where researches will show a diverse selection of computing technology.
