Join us on Thursday 16th February for an exciting day of speeches and panel discussions to celebrate the launch of the new UCL Centre for Gender and Global Health.

The day will include keynote speeches from Rachel Jewkes ) Director of the Medical Research Council Gender & Health Research Unit, South Africa), Benno de Keizjer (Professor of Anthropology, University of Veracruz, Mexico), Sabina Alkire (Director of the Oxford Poverty and Human Development, UK) and Maureen Fordham (Professor of Gender and Disaster Resilience, Northumbria University, UK) followed by a series of panel discussions in the afternoon and a drinks reception.

The event is free to attend but pre-booking is essential. If you are unable to attend in person, we will be livestreaming the event.

Spaces to attend the launch day are now unfortunately sold out, but you are welcome to attend one of the four panel sessions from 14:00-16:00 without registering and we will be livestreaming the event.
