Professor Robert Blackburn, King's College London, Robert Blackburn is Professor of Constitutional Law at King's College London.

The coalition Government has recently announced plans to introduce fixed-term parliaments for the first time in the UK. In this seminar, Professor Blackburn discusses the constitutional and political implications of introducing fixed-term parliaments as well as how the proposal is likely to work in practice.
