When did Black History Month begin? Where did it come from? Why does it exist?

We’ll take a look back at the beginnings and evolution of Black History Month across the world. Though it is a month shared by British, Americans, and Canadians, the way it is celebrated and what it means differs. By looking at the history and how this month is celebrated elsewhere we can be begin to explore how we can make the most of this important month each year. Come join us to learn, discuss, and co-create a better understanding of Black History, Black History Month, and what it means to each of us.
