UCL Royal Society Funder Showcase

The Royal Society (RS) will be visiting UCL on the morning of Monday 23 February to present and discuss its funding schemes.

The RS provides a range of grant schemes which fund the natural and applied sciences including medicine and engineering alongside its innovation and industry schemes.

The event will include:

• Welcome from Professor Richard Catlow FRS, Dean of the UCL Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences • A presentation from Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore (Deputy Director of the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and current Royal Society University Research Fellow), who will give an account of her own experience of Royal Society funding and her research highlights • A talk from the Royal Society, who will give details about their funding schemes • Interactive panel discussion and Q&A session • An informal Networking Session with refreshments

Everyone is welcome to attend but please register so we can ensure that enough seats and catering are provided
