For one day only the Institute of Archaeology building and adjacent surroundings of Bloomsbury’s Gordon Square will be bursting with exciting, hands-on archaeological activities for the whole family to enjoy. Alongside drop-in activities, the afternoon offers tours of the Institute's internationally acclaimed collections and object handling sessions. Popular events running again in 2015, include how to make flint tools and prehistoric butchery, while new, exciting activities include Fragmented Frescos, Cave Painting, Underwater Shipwreck, Whose Poo?, Pottery Making, Sandbox Archaeology and Fish Mummification.
