Dr Katrina Scior, UCL Centre for Health Service Research in Intellectual Disabilities

In this talk Dr Scior will illustrate how negative public attitudes and discrimination often continue to affect the wellbeing of people with mental illness or intellectual disability. She will look at lay responses to persons with mental illness and intellectual disabilities across cultural communities, and their implications social inclusion and the provision of appropriate support.
