The Alan Turing Institute will host our first Turing Lecture of the Summer, ‘The Intersection of Statistics, Mathematics and Computation’.
This is a rare opportunity to hear insights from Professor Andrea Bertozzi, visiting Lecturer from UCLA, on the application of advanced numerical methods in image segmentation. Whilst, Professor Mark Girolami (University of Warwick) will focus on an emerging area of research: ‘probabilistic numerics’.
The event will be held at the British Library Conference Centre from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Please visit the following link for more information on the lecture, as well as a sign-up page to confirm your attendance.
UCL is a founding partner of the Alan Turing Institute. The Alan Turing Institute is the UK national Data Science Institute.
