Talking taboo: Public engagement with sensitive issues

Room 604 | UCL Institute of Education (link Map)
20 Bedford Way | London | WC1H 0AL | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

This event will highlight public engagement projects that have tackled sensitive topics successfully. You’ll hear from the experts who have led these projects and who understand how to transform an idea that could have some challenging outputs to a reality that stimulates conversation. Expect to gain insight into how to conduct a project around a sensitive issue, consider the challenges of this type of interaction, and meet like-minded people who can help your project to take shape.

UCL Public Engagement Network sessions bring together people who are interested in public engagement. Whether you’re an old hand or a complete novice please bring your experience and questions to what we hope will be lively, thought-provoking and participatory sessions.
