UCL has recently launched a major institution-wide initiative, the Connected Curriculum, which seeks to transform the learning experience of our students and staff. Run jointly with our new colleagues at the UCL Institute of Education, our annual Teaching and Learning Conference will focus on aspects of the new initiative such as connecting students with the wider world, with each other across the years, research-based learning and assessment as an authentic capstone of understanding.

The conference also marks the launch of our ChangeMakers initiative, whereby students and staff work in partnership to further shape and develop UCL as a learning community that has a positive impact upon the world.

The opening plenary sessions are open to all and represent a unique opportunity to get a glimpse of a leading research-intensive university devoting its full attention to supporting the future in the present - our students.
