Speaker information

Martin Wolf, Financial Times

The Economist's Society is delighted to welcome Martin Wolf to UCL, to give what will be a most memorable and important talk on these once-in-a-generation economic events. This event will be one of the highlights of the year and unmissable for anyone studying economics or interested in current affairs and the social, political and economic environment.

Most of you will know Mart Wolf as the associate editor and chief economics commentator at the Financial Times. In addition he was awarded a CBE in 2000 for Services to Journalism, he is an honorary member of Corpus Christi College Oxford, Special professor at Nottingham University and honorary fellow at the Oxford institute for economic policy, and has a plethora of other honours and awards too plentiful to mention in this short, but let's admit it, impressive summary.
