Lunch Hour Lecture: Social Harmony and Religious Diversity: is conciliation possible?
Darwin Lecture Theatre |
access via Malet Place | London | WC1E 6BT | United Kingdom
Dr Myriam Hunter-Henin, UCL Laws
The tensions between social harmony and religious diversity are no longer exclusively a matter of scholarly interest. This lecture will examine when social harmony can legitimately trump individual rights of dissenters and when individual rights to express minority religious beliefs should on the other hand triumph.
