UCL IEHC Early Career Forum Conference 2015: Get your career going!

Kennedy Lecture Theatre | (link Map)
30 Guilford Street | WC1N 1EH | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

Organised by the UCL Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care Early Career Forum, this is a fantastic opportunity for all postdoctoral researchers, PhD students and early career researchers in epidemiology and public health to find out about career opportunities both inside and outside academia. Presentation topics will range from how to get your work published, teaching in higher education, to tips on how to transfer your skills and what a career in policy can be like. The conference is also a great opportunity to meet and network with other early career researchers from across the institute.

Conference Chair: Dr Robert Miller, UCL Speakers: Prof Sir Michael Marmot (Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, UCL), Dr Maryam Shahmanesh (Department of Infection and Population Health, UCL), Prof Caroline Sabin (UCL), Dr Pete Border (Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology) and Dr Claire De-May (Alzheimer’s Society).

Lunch and refreshments are included.
