DR ROSIE BELCHER Medical students frequently encounter personal ethical dilemmas during their training. These dilemmas are often related to their role as a student, and their attempts to balance their need to learn with patient care, whilst also learning how to be part of the team. This talk will present a research project exploring students' reactions to their dilemmas, and how they negotiate solutions.
Immediately before this event the Royal Free Library is hosting a showcase of services and resources to support teaching. Drop in to the library from midday to find out more about the support available to those involved in teaching medical students, in the academic or clinical setting. A full programme of demonstrations will be available soon.
