A Starter's Guide to Translational Funding

The Maplethorpe Lecture Theatre | UCL School of Pharmacy (link Map)
29-39 Brunswick Square | London | WC1N 1AX | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Student

The Translational Research Office in collaboration with the School of Pharmacy Drug Discovery Cluster are hosting an event to highlight translational funding opportunities available to Life Science researchers. This will be an opportunity to hear from the funders themselves about schemes available to initiate life science translational projects. In addition, there will be talks from researchers at UCL to illustrate how these schemes have been used. We will cover all opportunities from small molecule, cell & gene therapy to diagnostics and devices.

We will be hearing from EPSRC, Medical Research Council, British Heart Foundation, The Wellcome Trust, Cancer Research UK and NIHR.

The session will wrap-up with a panel discussion capturing the key themes of the afternoon, future developments and opportunities to work with Industry.
