Current knowledge of how the human mind and brain function during navigation comes predominately from lab-based studies. To learn about navigation in real-world action, the UCL Spatial Cognition Group is working on fieldwork experiments based in Soho.

Part one - From 10am participants will take part in an interactive walking tour of Soho to demonstrate the fieldwork - technologies developed to investigate spatial awareness and navigation. You are required to sign-up for this via Eventbrite (limited to 30 spaces). You will meet at 10am in Soho Square.

Part two - From 12pm in the Slade Research Centre, there will be a one hour talk shedding light on the theory and knowledge behind the project. This is open to all, with no prior booking required.
