Howard Brenton is the guest speaker at this first seminar in a series bringing together contributors from academe and the theatre to discuss the translation of various dramatic genres. Drs Marie Wells, Judith Beniston and Philip Bullock discuss Ibsen, Schnitzler and Chekhov, followed by talks from Agnes Broomé and Howard Brenton about their work translating Strindberg for the Gate Theatre's recent production 'Dances of Death'.
