Farr Short Courses: Using Primary Care EHRs for Research
The Farr Institute London
222 Euston Road | London | NW1 2DA | United Kingdom
Longitudinal electronic health records offer unique opportunities to gain insights into both common and rare diseases. However such data are collected primarily for clinical purposes not research.
What is the scope for using these primary care records for research? What are the methodological challenges? What analytic approaches can be used to overcome these? This course will answer these and other related questions.
Confirmed Speakers: Professor Andrew Hayward, UCL.
Part of 'Harnessing Electronic Health Records for Research', a unique programme of 13 inter-related short courses in the rapidly developing field of electronic health records research.
