A brilliant - and important - private collection of maps has been made available to the public. UCL Earth Sciences and UCL Museums present two centuries of geological maps, from the earliest field surveys to state-of-the-art remote sensing. Come along and see how geological maps are made, interpreted and used to understand tectonics, predict natural disasters, identify economic resources, plan engineering projects and help us understand the crustal processes active on Earth and other planets.
