Speaker information

Dr Divya P. Tolia-Kelly, University of Durham

Dr Tolia-Kelly will talk about the exhibition 'An Archaeology of Race', which was displayed at two museums in Carlisle and Newcastle near Hadrian's Wall in 2009. The exhibition explored the archaeological materials and narratives that reflected multi-cultural Roman Britain and the culture of peoples on Hadrian's wall, in particular military units from provinces in North Africa.
