A performance of Euripides’ tragedy 'Iphigenia', in the sixteenth-century translation by Lady Jane Lumley. The production will be brought to us by a company led by Professor Alison Findlay of Lancaster University, who is well known for her ground-breaking work on women and drama in the Renaissance. This is an exciting opportunity to see a play that has recently attracted much interest, and offers many points of comparison with Samuel Daniel’s 'Cleopatra' as staged at UCL in March.

Advance reservations must be made by emailing rosecompanytheatre@gmail.com. The ticket price of £5.00 will be collected at the door on the day of performance.
