Gower Street | London | WC1E 6BT | United Kingdom

Open to: Academic | Alumni | Public | Student

Mythological creatures are made to seem real in representational art. Among these creatures are some that can fly - angels, fairies and dragons are all shown as having wings and and otherwise naturalistic form, yet biologically speaking, are they able to fly? Putting art and myth under scrutiny, Professor Wotton will investigate the biological feasibility of the existence of these animals. Following the lecture join us for a free glass of wine or soft drink in a private view of the museum. This event forms part of the Natural Mystery Season at the Grant Museum.
