The UCLU Malaysian Society presents a production based on one of Malaysia's most well-known historical legends.

When Wan Darus goes off to war, his wife, the beautiful Mahsuri, is left behind to care for their child. An enigmatic travelling poet soon wanders into the village, and the two strike up a strong friendship. Mahsuri's enemies, however, see this as opportunity to wreak havoc; and their scheming eventually results in consequences far more tragic and devastating than any of them could have imagined.
