‘On the peak of darkness: from the abyss to the light with Dante’: a one-day journey through the text of Dante’s masterpiece, the Divine Comedy, with introductions to Dante and his work, readings in English and Italian from the poem, talks and discussion, and an exhibition of rare Dante editions and archival material from UCL Library Special Collections.

Part of the Dante Festival. The festival is a collaboration between our very generous host and supporter, the Italian Cultural Institute in London, and UCL Library Special Collections, UCL Italian Department in the School of European Languages, Culture and Society, The Warburg Institute, and St. Giles-In-The-Fields church.

If you want to find out more about Dante’s poetry and can’t come to the Dante workshop on 14 November, try our weekly readings on Tuesday lunchtimes.
